The optiPoint 410/420 S Release Notes help you to find, in descending order:

  • New implemented features
  • Corrected bugs
  • Known and still open issues (eventually with workarounds)

for each optiPoint 410/420 SIP software version considered.

Software versioning / naming

A new software versioning scheme was introduced, it requires that a new versioning name should be adopted for each software product.
Software product version will be now identified with the string:

V x[.y] R m.f.h

in which field:

  • x[.y] denotes the Major release level
  • m denotes the Minor release level
  • f denotes the Fix release level
  • h denotes the Hotfix level


This naming convention scheme does not imply any naming requirements for file / files available.

RQ00022101 Feature Auto Start Option Required for Call Recording The call recording feature can be configured to start automatically or on user request only. The user default for "05=Setup/02=Configuration/55=Call Recording" is "ON" now.
RQ00023107 Feature Transfer on Hangup An additional configuration option is available controlling the phone behavior when a user with two calls (one connected, one held) goes "on-hook". This is relevent for users with two incoming calls or one outgoing and one incoming call (e.g. when accepting calls via call "waiting"):
  • option "Transfer on hangup set to "no": The active call is released and held call is re-presented again, if the second call is an incoming call.
  • option "Transfer on hangup set to "yes": Both remote parties are joined/connected.

This allows to use the join feature for all call situations or alternatively prevent the user from accidentially joining unrelated calls.
