The new Desk Phone Generation
Unify has created the second generation of devices, which continues the current OpenScape Desk Phone CP device family. The result is a clear device design and a user interface with relevant features combined to meet a broad set of use cases in a concentrated family of desk phones. The OpenScape Desk Phone CP110 is the ideal device for entry-level workplace scenarios. It has a large display, a headset connector with DHSG/EHS functionality, two fixed function keys and three soft-label keys. These soft label keys can be configured as function-, name or line keys. Concentrating on the essential functions makes the CP210 the ideal companion for a wide variety of workplace scenarios. It supports the entire range of the OpenScape systems, has a headset connection with DHSG/EHS functionality, a USB interface and four freely programmable function keys. These free programmable function keys are preassigned with the functions Call log, Directory, Call Forwarding, Redial. However, they can also be configured as four function, speed dial or line keys. All free programmable function keys have LED signaling on the key to indicate the status of the key, as well as displaying the function on a label on the phone's LCD screen. In addition, it offers 5 fixed function keys for quick interaction with the conversation partner, these are pre-assigned with Hold, Transfer, Conference, Settings, Messages. Of these, 3 keys have an LED to display the status of the respective fixed function key. The USB interface is already provided to connect devices, USB headsets and a WiFi dongle are planned.

The SIP firmware provides encryption capabilities. Hence its distribution must follow legal requirements which do not allow unrestricted SW distribution via the Internet. The firmware is only provided by Unify technicians or by official Unify Partners. Customers with self-care contracts will have access to SW within the SEBA Web portal (login required). |
