The complaint was that a user who holds an FPK for too long is transported to the middle of Settings mode and has to find their way out again.

A similar experience to that of the HFA phone is given, where a long-press on an FPK brings up a pop-up prompt offering the user the option to program the key or cancel the action. A pop-up prompt provides a safe-guard and should train the user not to hold to key for so long.

The time taken to show the FPK Programming form once the user has chosen to program an FPK is improved. It is currently far too slow. The long-press timeout for the FPK keys will be changed from 1 second to 2 seconds.
