Initiators
Gunnar Boll (Unify) initiated the concept of expanding Siemens' web presence in the VoIP/ SIP area by a project designed as a neutral expert system. Siemens and TeamOne (a Siemens partner for product documentation in the telephone area), joined forces to develop this Wiki as the optimum solution for this purpose.
Admins and Editors
The Wiki is operated by TeamOne on behalf of Siemens. It is hosted on a server leased by TeamOne, independent of Siemens. The domain was also reserved by TeamOne on behalf of Siemens.
The users Horst Reinelt and Stefan Münz (both from TeamOne) are the server administrators and contacts for questions regarding server, Wiki installation etc.
You can use Listusers to see the status of each user within the Wiki. Siemens employees and technical writers from TeamOne provide the vital content, monitor new content, answer questions and – if required – moderate discussions.
You!?
This Wiki is, however, not a "we-for-you-platform" but a project where all users can contribute contents – with their own know-how and experience in the subject areas. If you create your own user account, you can edit the contents of this Wiki.
The time and effort you invest in this Wiki is not some free-of-charge Siemens support but a collection of know-how needed all over the planet – based on the formula to success: "Users support users".
