VoWLAN = Voice over Wireless Local Area Network
Explanation
Technology for mobile voice communications over wireless networks.
VoWLAN integrates VoIP, SIP and WLAN (version 802.11e to support QoS). Additionally, a direct UMTS connection is possible to extend the VoWLAN services outside of the range of the wireless LAN.

VoWLAN integriert VoIP, SIP und WLAN (Version 802.11e, das QoS unterstützt). Darüber hinaus ist eine direkte Anbindung an UMTS möglich und damit die Erweiterung der VoWLAN-Services außerhalb des Einflussbereiches des Funk-LANs.
