VoWLAN = Voice over Wireless Local Area Network
Explanation
Technology for mobile voice communications over wireless networks.
VoWLAN integrates VoIP, SIP and WLAN (version 802.11e to support QoS). Additionally, a direct UMTS connection is possible to extend the VoWLAN services outside of the range of the wireless LAN.
