Explanation

A light-emitting diode is a semiconductor device that emits light, when electrically biased in the forward direction. LEDs are available in various colors incl. white light LEDs.

Erläuterung

Die Leuchtdiode ist ein elektronisches Halbleiter-Bauteil, das Licht abstrahlt, wenn durch die Diode Strom in der Durchlassrichtung fließt. LEDs gibt es in verschiedenen Farben und als Weißlicht-LEDs.
