The phone user is able to create, in a single operation, a new Personal Phone Book contact containing all the details shown for a selected LDAP entry and is able to automatically start editing the contact they created if required.
The mapping between LDAP attributes returned by the LDAP server and the fields of a Personal Phone Book contact are defined by the LDAP template which is prepared by Admin specifically for the LDAP server. This mapping is already used to populate the details form for an LDAP entry.
