HiPath 3000 Time Daylight Saving and NTP

There are three ways the time can be set on HiPath 3000:

  • Manual with Daylight saving table
  • ISDN
  • NTP

Manual Method
The system time can be set using a customer level login on the first two active digital or HFA/ip telephones. Daylight saving start and finish times must be entered by a service level login with Manager E/System Parameters/Daylight Saving.
If your country is in the southern hemisphere, old version of software failed to change time correctly because the time would change in the wrong direction. As of software version V8R3.3.0_033 the daylight savings entries are now interpreted as winter time.
