Here are statements concerning data volume
In order to minimize the needed bandwith there is no exliplict synch mechanism betwenn client and server (i.e. actualization of contact/presence informations has to be manually requested) To give a rough feeling of requested transfer rates: data volume for conatct informations: ca. 150 Byte (e.g. 100 contacts ca 16-17 KB including header information) data volume for conference informations : depends on number of involved OSC participants n : ca. n*160 Byte, eg. one conference with 7 participants: 1050 Byte data volume device information : 500 byte (e.g. List with 10 devices req ca 7 KB) (Not explicit mentioned in this summary are some additional data volumes needed for e.g. Header/envelope informations)
Call establishement:
Via data connection, the mobile client is talking to the facade server. Facase Server is talking to openscape (basic communications). Basic communications is initiating a 3rd party call to your preofered device (could be your mobile phone) and another call to the person you wana talk to. These to calls are then connected.
