Outlook has problems with Advanced Find and complains about having too many search folders open. The message box that opens tells the user "Too many Find Public Folders dialogs open...". This is a problem in Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007. To fix the problem, download and run "PublicFixSearchFolders.exe".
We recommend the PST is backed up before proceeding in case of any data losses.
Run the application and click the "+" to exand the Store/s. Then click on Personal Folders on the left pane. It will display the corrupted search folders in the right pane. Select all or some and then click on the delete button.
PublicFixSearchFolders.exe is a freeware application and comes without any warranty. Please use with care and at own risk.
