OpenScape Business supports optiPoint WL2 devices with SIP protocol stack.
OptiPoint WL2 devices with HFA protocol can be reused, if the HFA protocol stack is replaced by SIP protocol stack.
The replacement procedure is described within:

The appropriate SW image is provided by the SW Downlad Server (SWS), which can be accessed via the Unify Business Area (SEBA).
The document above has been copied out the relase note of the of optipoint WL2 SW. It is recommended to check, if the information has been updated within the release note of the downloaded SW version.

Please note:
All user data within optiPoint WL2 device are lost after protocol replacement.
optiPoint WL2 on base of SIP or HFA offer a different feature set.
